IBPS PO is an exam conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to recruit candidates for the post of Probationary Officers in different public sector banks in India. It is for selection of candidates to the 11 public sector banks in India.

Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen.
Educational Qualifications:
- You must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification which is recognised by the Central Government.
- You can apply even if you are a final year/semester student provided you can produce your proof of graduation on the date of the interview.
- You need computer literacy Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary for the job as well as to take the IBPS PO exam which is conducted in online mode.
- You need language proficiency: Verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the language.
Age Limit:
At the time of the registration, your age should NOT be less than 20 years or more than 30 years.

The IBPS PO testing process consists of five stages:
- Online Prelims Exam
- Online Mains Exam
- Interview
- Final Result
- Provisional Allotment
The marks obtained in the Prelims test is only considered for qualification in the Mains test.
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the objective tests. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
