MICAT
What is MICAT?
MICA Admission Test (MICAT) is the mandatory entrance test for admission intothe PGDM-C and PGDM programs ofMudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA). It is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and is conducted twice a year.
Am I eligible for MICAT?
The minimum eligibility criteria for MICAT is graduation. You need to fulfil any one of the following conditions:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- You are appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination.
- You have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results.
According to MICA, candidates who demonstrate aptitude for expressing, assessing, and /or conceiving ideas that move people to action and achieve business results tend to stand a better chance of being shortlisted.

What is the pattern of the test?
MICA selection is a 3-step process as detailed below:
- Each candidate must have taken at least one of the three exams: CAT/ XAT/GMAT.
- All candidates are assessed on MICAT.
- All the candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in CAT/XAT/GMAT & MICAT shall appear for both Group Exercise (GE) & Personal Interview (PI)
